Power 88 Gospel Festival 2010

Public radio station KCEP-FM in association with The City of Henderson present the 2nd Annual Power 88 Super Soul Gospel Fest 2010 at the Henderson Pavilion located at 200 S. Green Valley Parkway, on Saturday October 2nd, 2010. Gates open at 12 p.m. with entertainment and activities until 8 p.m featuring national gospel recording artist Kurt Carr and The Kurt Carr Singers, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, the Legendary Keith Pringle and Elder Goldwire McClendon are also set to perform. Tickets start at $19.

In addition to the top-notch national recording artists, performances by local church choirs, praise teams and dancers will take the stage throughout the day. A wide variety of local food, craft and apparel vendors will provide festival-goers the best in local culture, taste experiences and gifts. Children will enjoy plenty of activities and entertainment including jumpers, face painting and balloon magic.

A community service of EOB, KCEP-FM provides more than 150,000 listeners each week an eclectic blend of hip hop and R&B, locally produced public affairs programming and cultural programs.
